3rd KNH/CCCYC Ex-Foster Friends Fellowship

About 120 KNH Exfoster friends from Karnataka have gathered at Calvary Chapel, Bangalore on Tuesday 17th September 2013. Exfoster friends from Hubli, Dandeli, Gadag, Bellary, Raichur, Yadgiri, Gulbarga, Chamrajanagara, Mysore, ,Haveri, Halvi, Adoni, Shimoga, Rannebennur, Koppal, Tumkur, Bidadi, Bangalore have participated in the fellowship joyfully.



The participants who participated in the fellowship were Pastors, Evangelists, Teachers, Deputy General Managers from Bharat Electronics limited, Public Relation officer from Karnataka housing board, Branch Managers of Aditya Motors, Managers, Employees from HAL, Engineers/Technicians in Mico Bosch, Nurses, Masons, Laborers etc, The details of the participants and their occupation is in the Annexure.



This fellowship is the outcome of the core group of KNH Exfoster Prayer Fellowship Forum initiated by Pastor L.Gunasekaran, Calvary Chapel Trust, Bangalore who was an Exfoster child of CSI Boys Home Pasumalai and Pastor Navaneeth Kumar.

All the participants gratefully praised and worshiped the Almighty God and for the manifold blessings showered on them. Pastor Navaneeth Kumar from Hardwicke Boarding Home and Santhosh led this session. All the participants were led to know each other and recollected their fond memories as the sponsored children through Micro lab exercises.

Mr.Vije Abraham and Mr.Asir Jeyasingh, Programme Managers, CCCYC presented the CCCYC scenario and the ministry of KNH  by power point presentation. Exfoster friends thanked and appreciated KNH/CCCYC for its various services among most vulnerable children and community.

In his keynote address, Rev.Solomon Benjamin exposited from Jesus Christ’s, “I am “ series “ I am the bread”. He has added that Bread is uniting us .Bread is broken for sharing with the unknown and strangers. Bread is from Labour. God has continued to use KNH/ CCCYC. Ex foster friends as Bread to be a part of God’s blessing. He challenged and inspired the ex foster friends to share God’s blessings to those who are in need.

While witnessing emotionally, Pastor Gunasekaran narrated how vulnerable he was, who never saw the face of his father, Was abandoned by mother and how KNH sponsorship enabled him to be a blessing to the vulnerable children and community. He challenged the audience to come forward to become Indian sponsors. One Mr.Mohan Selvaraj a former KNH student from CSI Vocational Centre, Tumkur       presently the property Officer in Karnataka Central Diocese, MrYelumalai a former student of  Trinity Hostel,Bangalore presently is Director of  a Hospitality Services ,Bangalore responded to the call and promised to sponsor two deserving children each.                    

The afternoon session was resumed with a video show on the mission  of KNH/ CCCYC by Mr.David Anilkumar and Mr.Gnana.D.Hans from CCCYC. The profiles of few sponsors in Germany were highlighted and how they came forward to give sponsorship support with all limitations.The Exfoster friends were motivated to prepare the life stories to be passed to their respective sponsors who invested their time, talent, money and love.

Besides witnessing 14 Ex foster friends were volunteered to coordinate and strengthen Exfoster friends’ initiatives.

Among the participants, some old students who continue to work as laborers also came all the way from a  distant places to attend the Fellowship meet. An offertory of Rs 5900/- was raised by friends who gathered mainly to  share with those friends who sacrificed their time and money.

The contribution made by Pastor L.Gunasekaran and Pastor Navaneeth Kumar and their team were recognized and appreciated.

The fellowship meet was concluded with  a closing prayer and benediction by Rev.Solomon.P.Benjamin.
