9th  KNH/CCCYC Ex-Foster Friends Fellowship

The Ninth Regional Fellowship of KNH Ex Foster Friends for IELC Special Projects /other KNH Ex Foster Friends who are settled in Hosur Region was organized at Krishnagiri District Deaf Association Auditorium, Titan Town Ship Hosur on Sunday 20th July 2014 from 4:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. More than 50 KNH Ex foster friends who are Hearing Impaired with their families  have gathered .

Krishnagiri District Deaf Association includes KNH Ex Foster Friends from IELC Hr.Secondary School for the Deaf,Ambur,F.S Hr.Secondary School for the Deaf Palayamkottai, CSI School for the Deaf, Manamadurai actively involved in welcoming and  arranging for the Meet. The Registeration the KNH Ex Foster Friends who have come for the Fellowship Meet was done by the staff members from IELC School for the Deaf.

At the initiative of CCCYC, Bangalore, Mr.D.Daniel, Correspondent and Mr.Augustine, Social Worker with the active participation of Mrs.Christy Vatchalakumari Head Mistress and her Staff, Mrs Sugandhi, Child Care Workers and her Staff from  IELC School and Home for the Deaf, Ambur along with the staff from IELC School for the Mentally challenged, Pernambut have organized the KNH Ex Foster Friends Meet at KDDA Auditorum, Titan Township, Mathigiri, Hosur

Following the Registration , all the KNH –Ex Foster Friends were led in to micro lab exercise recalling their rich memories of their in their lives both in Schools and  Hostel life. Further, the KNH Ex Foster Friends  presented their profiles in brief  and it was a great witnessing session. Besides acknowledging the love of the Sponsors/knh /cccyc, they recognized the service and dedication of their respective  Staff.

All the Staff Members from the IELC School for the Deaf gratefully praised and worshiped the Almighty God with Deaf Signs for the manifold blessings which transformed them to be what they are today. Rev. D.Christudass, Pastor for IELC Ministry for the Deaf led this session . He highlighted the sacrificial giving of the  German Sponsors and encouraged the KNH Ex Foster Friends to respond to the Word of God as mentioned in Mathew 25:40. Further, he  challenged them to extend support through CCCYC to the vulnerable children around us.

The Fellowship of KNH Ex Foster Friends at Hosur was blessed by the Chief Executive Rev.Solomon Benjamin and Manager Mr.Asir Jeyasingh from CCCYC, Bangalore, Mr.Elangovan  Sr.Manager Training and Development, Titan Industries, Hosur, Mr.Suresh Babu, Ward Councilor and Public Relation Officer ,KDDA, Mr.Mohan President,, KDDA, Mr.Balaraman, General Secretary, KDDA, and Mr.Jaisankar former  President  KDDA,

All the KNH Ex Foster Friends, the Chief Guest and the dignitaries were warmly welcomed by Mrs.Christy Vatchalakumari Head Mistress. Those Teachers/Child Care Workers who have retired also joyfully participated in the fellowship.                                             

Briefing the four fold objectives of the KNH Ex Foster Friends Fellowship, Mr.Charles Soundara Raj shared about the other Eigth Knh Ex Foster Friends Meet that were held during the year and praised God for prompting many KNH Ex Foster Friends to come forward to contribute towards the vulnerable children. He also shared the greetings of Mr.Luder Luers from Germany.

Mr.Asir Jeyasingh, Manager CCCYC explained as to how KNH and CCCYC  promoted Sponsorship Programme and  outlined various service streams rendered among the vulnerable children and communities by CCCYC.

Rev.Solomon Benjamin, Chief Executive CCCYC expressed that it was a joyous moment and hearty to have fellowship with special KNH/CCCYC Ex Foster Friends who are Hearing Impaired and their families. He encouraged them to be a blessing to others like the water that flows into the lake of Galilee and not like that flows into black sea.  In his address, Mr.Suresh Babu, Ward Councilor and Public Relation Officer ,KDDA expressed that he was impressed about the Sponsorship model and  how the ministry of KNH /CCCYC has grown over the years and great services it rendered among the vulnerable children. Further, he witnessed that the initiative made by the members of the KDDA to establish a Preschool Centre exclusively for the Disabled children at Krishnagiri is from the KNH /CCCYC organization.

He also promised to sponsor five needy children through their association.The participants who participated in the fellowship were. While witnessing emotionally, many narrated how vulnerable they were and how KNH sponsorship enabled them to be a blessing to their own siblings/families and communities. Besides, Video Clippings of  KNH Ex Foster Friends were also done during the programme.

The fellowship meet was concluded with  a closing prayer by Rev.D.S.Christudass, Pastor for the Hearing Impaired, IELC  and with  benediction pronounced by Rev.Solomon P. Benjamin.
